- sugar - 2 tsp
- salt - 4 tsp
- shortening - 4 Tbsp
- cold milk - 2 c
- hot water
- warm water - 1/2 c
- dry yeast - 2 Tbsp
How to make white bread:
This makes 4 loaves. Bake at 325° for 35 to 40 minutes. Dissolve yeast and 2 teaspoons sugar in warm water. Set aside for 10 minutes. Mix hot water, shortening, salt and sugar in large mixer bowl; add milk. Add 2 cups flour to make sure the mixtuRecipe categories: Breads, Grains, Yeast breads.
