Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- chocolate chips - 1/2 c
- stick margarine or butter - 1 item
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Topping:1/4 c. sugar1/2 c. chopped nuts1/2 tsp. cinnamon Preheat oven to 350°. Prepare tube pan or loaf pan.Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and sour cream. Beat well. Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Add to moist ingredients. Mix well. Add 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
Prepare topping mix by mixing sugar, nuts and cinnamon. Put 1/2 of batter in prepared pan. Sprinkle 1/2 of batter in prepared pan. Sprinkle 1/2 of topping mix over it. Repeat. Bake 45 to 50 minutes.
