Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 3 item
• oil - 2/3 c
• cold milk
• nuts, chopped - 1/2 c
• Dream Whip - 1 pkg
• pistachio instant pudding mix - 1 pkg
• box white cake mix - 1 item
• club soda or ginger ale - 1 c
• Add oil, eggs and ginger ale

How to make watergate cake:

Mix together cake mix and pudding mix. Add oil, eggs and ginger ale. Beat 3 to 4 minutes, then add chopped nuts. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes, using a 9 x 13-inch pan or tube pan.Icing:1 box pistachio pudding mix1 pkg. Dream Whip1 1/4 c. cold milk Combine the pudding and Dream Whip. Add the milk. Whip until stiff. Spread on completely cooled cake. Sprinkle frosted cake with coconut and chopped nuts.
