World's best cookies

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 2 tsp
• salt - 1 tsp
• brown sugar - 1 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• cooking oil - 1 c
• plain flour
• beaten egg - 1 item
• oatmeal - 1 c
• white sugar - 1 c
• sticks oleo - 2 item
• finely chopped nuts - 1 c
• corn flakes, crushed fine - 1 c

How to make world's best cookies:

Cream the first 3 ingredients together. Add the remaining ingredients in order given. Roll dough in small balls and put on ungreased cookie sheet. Dip fork in cold water and press each cookie. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown. Do not overcook. I get 35 cookies on a 12 x 16 1/2-inch sheet. May line sheet with heavy foil.
