Ingredients/Components
- stick margarine - 1 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- diced celery - 2 c
- slivered almonds
- can water chestnuts - 1 item
- stack Ritz crackers - 1 item
How to make water chestnut casserole:
Boil celery in salty water for 7 minutes. Drain and slice water chestnuts. Mix with celery and chicken soup. Put in a casserole dish. Saute package of crushed crackers and sliced almonds in the butter. Put on top of soup mixture in casserole. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Time to make, Vegetables.
