Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 1/4 lb
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can sliced water chestnuts - 1 item
- Ritz crackers - 1 pkg
- diced celery
- slivered almonds optional
How to make water chestnut casserole:
Cook celery for 6 minutes and drain. Combine soup, celery and water chestnuts in 9 x 13-inch casserole. Saute cracker crumbs in butter and spread over mixture. Top with slivered almonds. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Time to make, Vegetables.
