Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- water - 2 c
- egg yolks - 3 item
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- flour or cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
How to make vinegar pie:
Mix and cook all until thick and smooth. Just before removing from heat, add 1 teaspoon lemon flavoring and small lump of oleo or butter. Pour into baked pie shell. Use egg whites for meringue.My Mother, Mrs. Minnie Boan, cut this recipe out of the Kansas City Star in the early thirties.
