Ingredients/Components
- chili powder - 3 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- cans tomatoes - 2 item
- can corn - 1 item
- ground chuck - 2 lb
- large onions - 2 item
- can peas - 1 item
- can mixed vegetables - 1 item
- cabbage optional - 1 item
- medium potatoes, washed, but unpeeled - 4 item
How to make vegetable soup:
Dice the potatoes and onions. Cook potatoes, onions, beef, tomatoes and spices until potatoes are done. Add mixed vegetables, peas and corn. Let simmer for 1 hour. Optional Ingredients: Rice, macaroni noodles and leftover vegetables.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Weeknight, Soups & stews.
