Ingredients/Components

  • water - 4 c
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • green pepper, chopped - 1/2 item
  • carrots, sliced - 3 item
  • stalk celery, sliced - 1 item
  • green beans - 2 c
  • lima beans - 2 c
  • V-8 juice - 4 c
  • potatoes, chopped - 2 item
  • beef or chicken bouillon cubes - 5 item
  • squash, diced - 1 item
  • peas or pork and beans - 2 c

How to make vegetable soup:

Combine bouillon cubes, water, onion, carrots, squash, celery, potatoes and pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender. Add V-8 juice and beans. Simmer for 30 minutes. Any other vegetable can be added or used as a substitute, or any of the above can be left out.
