Ingredients/Components

  • American cheese - 1 lb
  • onions, chopped - 2 item
  • stalk celery - 1 item
  • garlic salt or powder
  • butter or margarine optional - 1 Tbsp
  • bunch broccoli, cleaned and broken up - 1 item
  • bunch cauliflower, cleaned and broken up - 1/2 item
  • medium zucchini optional - 1 item
  • milk canned or fresh - 1 c

How to make vegetable cheese soup:

In a large saucepan, melt margarine to coat pan and saute chopped onions. Add milk and chopped pieces of cheese and warm to melt on medium heat. Add precooked (slightly) broccoli and cauliflower. Add celery, zucchini and garlic salt. Warm until done and vegetables are desired texture.
