Vegetable-beef soup
Ingredients/Components

- water - 8 c
- pepper - 1 tsp
- can whole kernel corn, drained - 1 oz
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- medium onions, chopped - 2 item
- can English peas, drained - 1 oz
- medium potatoes, cubed - 4 item
- medium carrots, cubed - 4 item
- small cabbage, coarsely chopped - 1/2 item
- beef soup bones - 2 item
- small red hot pepper - 1 item
- beef for stewing, cut into 1-inch cubes
How to make vegetable-beef soup:
Combine soup bones and water in a large Dutch oven or large pot, bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 1 hour. Add beef cubes, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Add cubed potatoes and next 5 ingredients. Cover and simmer 40 minutes. Add corn and peas. Simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Ground beef, Beef.
