- half and half - 1 pt
- flour - 1/2 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- cubes chicken bouillon - 2 item
- shredded Velveeta cheese - 3/4 c
- bunch broccoli or 1 bag frozen - 1 item
How to make broccoli soup:
Chop and prepare broccoli; cook 8 to 10 minutes. Melt butter in pan; add flour, chicken cubes and boiling water. Stir; add broccoli, shredded cheese, half and half and salt and pepper to taste. Add 1 cup rice or cooked potatoes (optional).Recipe categories: Vegetables, Soups & stews, Broccoli.
