Veal scaloppine
Ingredients/Components
- salt
- 12 oz - 1 lb
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- oregano - 1/4 tsp
- basil - 1/4 tsp
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- sliced mushrooms - 4 oz
- clove minced garlic - 1 item
- thin veal cutlets - 2 lb
How to make veal scaloppine:
Pound veal and season with salt and pepper. Brown veal in either olive oil or margarine (2 tablespoons). Combine tomatoes, tomato paste, green pepper, mushrooms and seasonings. Stir until tomatoes are broken up. Add to veal in skillet. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Uncover and simmer 30 more minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Veal.
