Ultimate chocolate chip cookies

sugar - 1/2 c
packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
vanilla extract - 1 tsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
chopped nuts - 1/2 c
almond extract - 1 tsp
baking soda - 1/2 tsp
egg - 1 item
softened butter - 1/3 c
Crisco shortening - 1/3 c
Toll House chocolate chips - 12 oz

How to make ultimate chocolate chip cookies:

Preheat oven to 375°. Mix sugars, butter, shortening, egg, vanilla and almond extracts. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. When removing cookie sheet from oven, gently place sheet on surface to keep cookies from falling. Makes 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
