Tortilla casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- grated onion - 1 item
- corn tortillas - 1 doz
- grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 1/2 lb
- green chili salsa - 2 c
- baking or boiled chicken - 1 item
How to make tortilla casserole:
Prepare chicken in bite size pieces. Can be done day before. Cut tortillas into 1-inch squares. Mix soups, milk, onion and salsa.Butter 9 x 13-inch pan. Place 1 layer of tortillas in bottom of pan and layer chicken and soup mix until all used, with soup mix on top. Sprinkle cheese. Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.
