Supper on a bread slice
Ingredients/Components
- salt
- evaporated milk - 2/3 c
- egg - 1 item
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- prepared mustard - 1 Tbsp
- ground beef
- cracker crumbs - 1/2 c
- Accent - 3/4 tsp
- loaf French bread - 1 item
- grated cheese Cheddar or American - 2 c
How to make supper on a bread slice:
Combine all ingredients, except bread. Cut bread in half lengthwise making 2 flat slices. Spread meat mixture on top of bread slices. Wrap bottom (crust side) in aluminum foil, leaving the top uncovered. Place on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until done.Optional: Place strips of cheese on top after 25 minutes and bake 5 minutes. Cut in slices diagonally.
