- Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- frozen chopped spinach - 1 pkg
- chopped onion, sauteed in 2 Tbsp - 1/2 c
- to 3 firm tomatoes - 2 item
How to make tomatoes florentine:
Remove stems only from tomatoes, slice in half and scoop out middle, about 3/4 ways down. Steam or boil frozen spinach; drain and squeeze remaining liquid out. Add spinach and sauteed onions; add dash of nutmeg. Stuff spinach mixture into tomato shells. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese on top.
