Ingredients/Components
- salt
- Ricotta
- grated Parmesan - 1/2 c
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- tomatoes - 4 item
- Mozzarella - 1/4 lb
- precooked pie shell - 1 item
- basil fresh and chopped - 1 c
How to make tomato pie:
Slice tomatoes in thirds; sprinkle with 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and lay on paper towels to drain. Layer tomatoes and other ingredients in pie shell. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes. Serve warm.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Side dish, Vegetables.
