Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- confectioners sugar - 1 lb
- margarine
How to make texas sheet cake:
Frosting:1/2 c. margarine6 Tbsp. milk4 Tbsp. cocoa1 lb. confectioners sugar In a large saucepan, combine first 3 ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cool for 5 minutes. Sift together flour, sugar, salt and soda; add to chocolate mixture. Blend in vanilla, eggs and sour cream. Bake in greased sheet pan at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.While baking, make frosting. In small saucepan, mix margarine, cocoa and milk. Bring to a boil. Sift and add confectioners sugar. Remove from heat. Ice cake while still warm.
