Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- Remove from heat and add flour, sugar and salt
How to make texas sheet cake:
Melt margarine, add cocoa and water and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add flour, sugar and salt. Mix well. Add eggs, buttermilk, baking soda and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into prepared large jelly roll pan. Bake at 375° for 22 minutes. Frost while hot with Texas Sheet Cake Frosting.Texas Sheet Cake Frosting:1 stick margarine4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped pecans Bring margarine, cocoa and milk to a boil.
