sugar - 2 c
eggs - 2 item
vanilla - 1 tsp
milk - 3 Tbsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
flour - 2 c
water - 1 c
soda - 1 tsp
cocoa - 1/4 c
sticks margarine - 2 item
buttermilk - 1/2 c
box powdered sugar - 1 item
nuts if desired - 1 item
Bring to boil

How to make yummy chocolate cake:

Mix in saucepan water, cocoa and margarine. Bring to boil. Have sifted together flour, sugar, soda and salt. Pour hot butter mixture into dry ingredients all at once, stir well. Beat eggs, add buttermilk and stir into batter. Pour into greased pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 400°Icing:1 stick butter3 Tbsp. milk3 Tbsp. cocoa1 box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla nuts (if desired) Melt butter, add milk and cocoa; bring to boil. Add powdered sugar and blend. Add vanilla and nuts if desired. Spread on warm cake.
