Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- stick butter - 1 item
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 lb
- Bring Crisco, butter, cocoa and water to a boil
How to make texas sheet cake:
Mix flour and sugar together. Bring Crisco, butter, cocoa and water to a boil. Cool and add to the flour and sugar. Mix well for 2 minutes. Add eggs, buttermilk, salt, soda and vanilla. Beat well. Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes.Frosting:1 stick butter4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 lb. box powdered sugar Bring to a boil the butter, cocoa and milk.
