Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk - 6 Tbsp
• sour cream - 1/2 c
• butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• butter - 1 Tbsp
• water - 1 c
• cocoa - 4 Tbsp
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• chopped walnuts - 1 c
• cake flour or 1 3/4 c - 2 c
• Add all at once to mixture of first 6 ingredients

How to make texas chocolate cake:

Bring to a boil the butter, water and cocoa. Add all at once to mixture of first 6 ingredients. Mix well and pour in greased, oblong pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350°.Icing for Texas Chocolate Cake:1 lb. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped walnuts1 Tbsp. butter6 Tbsp. milk4 Tbsp. cocoa Combine powdered sugar, vanilla and walnuts. Bring to a boil the butter, milk and cocoa. Add at once to powdered sugar mixture. Ice while hot.
