Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 3 Tbsp
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- powdered sugar
- Frosting:1/2 stick margarine
How to make texas sheet cake:
Frosting:1/2 stick margarine2 Tbsp. cocoa3 Tbsp. milk1 3/4 c. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla Bring margarine, water and cocoa to a boil. Mix together sugar, flour and salt. Pour boiling mixture over dry ingredients. Add eggs, sour cream, baking soda and vanilla. Beat well. Pour into greased 15 x 17-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.Frosting: Bring margarine, cocoa and milk to a boil. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour hot frosting over hot cake. Sprinkle with nuts (optional).
