Swiss chocolate brownies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 5 Tbsp
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- butter
- water - 1 c
- confectioners sugar - 3 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- unsweetened chocolate
- eggs, lightly beaten - 2 item
How to make swiss chocolate brownies:
Icing:1/2 c. butter1 1/2 sq. unsweetened chocolate1 tsp. vanilla3 c. confectioners sugar5 Tbsp. milk In a saucepan, bring water, butter and chocolate to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat; cool. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Add the chocolate mixture and mix. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla; mix. Fold in walnuts. Pour into a greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until brownies test done. Cool for 10 minutes.For icing, melt butter and chocolate. Place in mixing bowl; mix in 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar. Add milk, vanilla and remaining sugar; beat until smooth. Spread over warm brownies.
