Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 1/4 c
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • chili powder - 1/4 tsp
  • catsup - 1/4 c
  • mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • hamburger - 1 lb
  • tomato sauce - 1 c
  • finely chopped onions - 1/2 c

How to make texas barbecue sauce:

Brown hamburger and onion. In a saucepan, add all other ingredients. Then add brown hamburger and onions and simmer until all liquid is reduced to a Sloppy Joe mixture.
