Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- water - 1/2 c
- white vinegar - 1/4 c
- slices bacon, chopped - 2 item
How to make tangy green beans:
Combine green beans and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer 8 minutes. Cook bacon and onion in a heavy skillet until bacon is crisp. Remove mixture with a slotted spoon. Drain and set aside. Pour off drippings from skillet. Combine vinegar and sugar in skillet. Bring to a boil. Add beans and bacon mixture.
