Tangy barbecue sauce
Ingredients/Components
- packed brown sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- cider vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- ketchup - 1 c
- prepared mustard - 2 tsp
- oregano - 1 leaf
- hot pepper sauce - 1/2 1
- Worcestershire - 2 tsp
- clove minced garlic - 1 item
How to make tangy barbecue sauce:
Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil; stir occasionally. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 30 minutes. Discard bay leaf. Use to baste chicken, ribs or chops. Also great to use as a chip dip.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Savory sauces.
