Tangy barbecue sauce
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- water - 2 Tbsp
- melted butter - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 1/3 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 3/4 c
- catsup - 3/4 c
- prepared mustard
How to make tangy barbecue sauce:
Saut?© onion in butter in saucepan until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat and simmer. Use for beef, chicken or pork.Cook an 8 to 10 pound pork butt in crock-pot. When done, shred pork; add sauce to taste and heat through well.
Use remaining sauce as topping.
