Tacos in pasta shells
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- ground beef
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- green onions, chopped - 3 item
- shredded Monterey Jack cheese - 1 c
- crushed tortilla chips
- prepared taco sauce - 1 c
- uncooked, jumbo pasta shells - 18 item
How to make tacos in pasta shells:
Brown ground beef. Drain fat. On low heat, add cream cheese, salt and chili powder. Simmer 5 minutes. Cook pasta shells; drain. Toss in butter. Fill with beef mixture.Arrange shells in a buttered 13 x 9-inch pan. Pour taco sauce over each shell. Cover with foil. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 15 minutes. Uncover; top with cheeses and chips. Bake 15 minutes more, until bubbly. Top with sour cream and green onions. Garnish with lettuce leaves.
