Tacos in pasta shells
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- dairy sour cream - 1 c
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- ground beef
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- green onions, chopped - 3 item
- shredded Monterey Jack cheese - 1 c
- crushed tortilla chips
- jumbo pasta shells, cooked and drained - 18 item
- prepared salsa - 1 c
- cherry tomatoes optional - 1 item
- pitted ripe olives optional - 1 item
How to make tacos in pasta shells:
Brown beef; drain. Add cream cheese, chili powder and salt. Simmer 5 minutes over medium heat. Toss shells with butter. Fill with beef mixture. Arrange in buttered 9 x 13-inch pan. Pour taco salsa over shells. Cover with foil. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Uncover; top with cheeses and chips. Bake 15 minutes or until bubbly.
