Tabouli salad
Ingredients/Components
- olive oil - 1/4 c
- dried basil - 1 Tbsp
- juice from 1 lemon
- dried mint - 2 Tbsp
- bulghur wheat - 1 c
- water or soup stock - 2 c
- natural soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- to 1 bunch finely sliced scallions - 1/2 item
- to 1 bunch parsley, minced - 1/2 item
- cherry tomatoes, cut in quarters - 1/2 1
How to make tabouli salad:
Soak bulghur in water for 3 hours (or longer). Drain bulghur in colander until kernels are dry. Add vegetables, oil, lemon juice, herbs and soy sauce. Stir. Place quartered tomatoes around salad. Enjoy!Recipe categories: Grains, Salads, Tomato.
