Ingredients/Components

  • olive oil - 1/4 c
  • dried basil - 1 Tbsp
  • juice from 1 lemon
  • dried mint - 2 Tbsp
  • bulghur wheat - 1 c
  • water or soup stock - 2 c
  • natural soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • to 1 bunch finely sliced scallions - 1/2 item
  • to 1 bunch parsley, minced - 1/2 item
  • cherry tomatoes, cut in quarters - 1/2 1

How to make tabouli salad:

Soak bulghur in water for 3 hours (or longer). Drain bulghur in colander until kernels are dry. Add vegetables, oil, lemon juice, herbs and soy sauce. Stir. Place quartered tomatoes around salad. Enjoy!
