Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice - 6 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- olive oil - 1/2 c
- chopped parsley - 3 c
- bunch green onions - 1 item
- chopped mint - 1/4 c
- bulgur cracked wheat - 1 c
- medium-size tomatoes - 2 item
- romaine or leaf lettuce - 1 item
How to make tabbouleh:
Wash bulgur, place in large bowl and cover with hot water; let stand for 20 minutes. Drain thoroughly and squeeze dry with hands.Combine with tomatoes, onion, parsley and mint in a large bowl. Beat oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper together in 1-cup measure. Pour over bulgur mixture; stir until well blended. Serve in lettuce lined salad bowl.
