Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- flour - 1 item
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- soy sauce - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- onions - 1 item
- garlic powder or salt - 1 item
- large round steak, cut into serving pieces - 1 item
How to make swiss steak:
Dust each steak piece with flour. Pound flour, salt and pepper into meat. Brown on both sides in hot grease. Slice onions and add garlic powder or salt on top. Mix water, sour cream, soy sauce and brown sugar. Pour ingredients over steak. Bake in a 300° oven for an hour in a casserole dish or pan.Recipe categories: American, Main dish, North american.
