How to make swiss steak:
Cut steak in pieces. Flour and brown on both sides; remove from pan. Roll onion in flour; brown in oil. Layer meat and onion (covered with water) in covered casserole. Cook at 325° for 2 hours. Served with rice or mashed potatoes.Recipe categories: American, Main dish, North american.
