Sweet potato souffle
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 1/3 c
- brown sugar
- butter - 1/3 c
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- self-rising flour - 1/2 c
- fresh sweet potatoes - 2 lb
How to make sweet potato souffle:
Topping:1 c. brown sugar1/2 c. self-rising flour1/3 c. butter1 c. chopped pecans Wash potatoes and boil gently until done. Peel and mash to make 3 cups. Add next five ingredients. Mix well and place in a greased 10 x 7-inch dish.For Topping: Mix brown sugar and flour well. Add melted butter and chopped pecans. Stir well. Top potato mixture with topping. Bake in a 350° oven for 40 minutes.
