Ingredients/Components

sweet potatoes, cooked - 1 c
evaporated milk
eggs - 3 item
sugar
salt - 1/4 tsp
lemon juice - 1 tsp
butter, melted - 2 Tbsp
cinnamon - 1/2 Tbsp
nutmeg - 1/2 Tbsp
allspice - 1/2 Tbsp
pecans, ground or chopped - 1/2 c
coconut, grated - 1/4 c
pie shell - 1 item

How to make sweet potato pie:

Mix the ingredients and put in uncooked pie shell. Bake for 10 minutes at 450°, then reduce heat to 350° and cook for 30 minutes longer.

Note: I prefer 1 cup of white sugar and 1/2 cup brown, but all white can be used.
