Sweet potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- milk - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- melted margarine - 6 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- shredded coconut - 1 c
- margarine - 6 Tbsp
- crushed corn flakes
- large can sweet potatoes, drained and mashed - 1 item
How to make sweet potato casserole:
Topping:1 c. crushed corn flakes1/2 c. brown sugar6 Tbsp. melted margarine1 c. shredded coconut1/2 c. chopped pecans Combine first 7 ingredients and pour into 13 x 9 glass oblong pan; bake at 400° for 20 minutes.Make a mixed topping of corn flakes, brown sugar, melted margarine, coconut and pecans. Put this crumbly mix on top of casserole. Return to oven and bake for 20 minutes more. Serves 12.
