Sweet potato souffle
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1/3 c
- brown sugar
- butter - 1/3 c
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- nuts, chopped - 1 c
- mashed sweet potatoes - 3 c
How to make sweet potato souffle:
Topping:1 c. brown sugar1/3 c. flour1/3 c. butter1 c. nuts, chopped Beat first seven ingredients together; pour into a 2-quart baking dish.In mixing bowl, blend brown sugar, flour and butter with a pastry blender or 2 knives until it resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in nuts. Sprinkle evenly over sweet potato mixture. Bake at 375° for 30 to 40 minutes. Recipe may be doubled and baked in a 9 x 13 pan.
