Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • milk - 1/3 c
  • flour - 1/2 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • melted butter
  • light brown sugar - 1 c
  • sweet potatoes about 4 good size ones - 3 c

How to make sweet potato casserole:

Topping:1/3 c. melted butter1 c. light brown sugar1/2 c. flour1 c. chopped pecans Boil and mash potatoes. Mix in sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla and milk. Put in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.

Topping: Melt butter and mix in remaining ingredients. Sprinkle on top of potato mixture. Bake 25 minutes at 350°. Serves 10 to 12.
