Sweet and sour chicken
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- water - 3 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- dash of ground ginger - 1 item
- soy sauce
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- boneless chicken breasts - 6 item
- large can chunk pineapple, drained - 1 item
- stalks celery, cut in 1-inch pieces - 3 item
- red sweet pepper, cut in chunks - 1 item
How to make sweet and sour chicken:
Spray large skillet with Pam and add 1 tablespoon margarine. Put in chicken. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and ginger. Add celery pieces and cook until chicken is brown. Combine water, brown sugar, pineapple juice, vinegar, soy sauce and cornstarch in saucepan. Cook until thickened. Add pineapple and red pepper chunks. Pour over chicken.
