  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • powdered sugar
  • cooking oil - 2 Tbsp
  • crushed pineapple, juice and all
  • Sift flour, soda and salt

How to make pineapple cake:

Cream eggs, sugar and oil. Sift flour, soda and salt. Add pineapple alternately with flour mixture to creamed mixture. Beat well. Add vanilla and pecans. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake in 350° oven for 30 to 35 minutes.Frosting:1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese1 stick butter1 tsp. vanilla1 3/4 c. powdered sugar Beat until smooth. Ice cake, then sprinkle with chopped nuts.
