Swedish heirloom cookies
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 Tbsp
- shortening - 1 c
- powdered sugar - 1 c
How to make swedish heirloom cookies:
Cream shortening, sugar and salt. Blend in rest of ingredients. Mix everything together with a fork. Shape into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten slightly. Bake at 325° for 20 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Winter.
