Ingredients/Components

  • salt
  • egg - 1 item
  • 8 oz - 2 c
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • mustard - 1 Tbsp
  • ground beef
  • m - 3/4 tsp
  • loaf French bread - 1 item
  • crushed crackers - 1/2 c
  • canned milk small can - 2/3 c

How to make supper on a bread slice:

Combine ingredients. Cut 1 loaf French bread in half lengthwise. Spread meat mixture over top of bread. Wrap aluminum foil around crust side of bread. Leave top uncovered. Place on cookie sheet. Bake in oven at 350° for about 25 minutes. Garnish with strips of cheese. Bake 5 minutes longer. Cut slices and serve.
