Ingredients/Components
- garlic salt - 3 tsp
- cayenne pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Accent - 1 tsp
- liquid smoke - 1 tsp
- mustard seed - 4 tsp
- coarse ground black pepper - 5 tsp
- Morton Tender Quick salt - 5 tsp
- hickory smoke salt - 6 tsp
- ground meat beef or 1/2 beef and 1/2 deer - 5 lb
How to make summer sausage:
Mix all ingredients. Refrigerate in a covered bowl. Mix once a day for 3 days. On the 4th day, mix and form in rolls. Place on rack or broiler pan and bake at 175° for 8 hours. Turn once.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Summer, Seasonal.
