Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • margarine - 1 c
  • popped corn - 2 qt
  • pecans
  • almonds - 2/3 c
  • Karo white syrup - 1/2 c

How to make karo crazy crunch:

Mix corn and nuts on a cookie sheet. (May take two.) Combine sugar, butter and syrup in a 1 1/2-quart pan; bring to a boil. Boil 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until a light caramel color. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour over corn; mix to coat and spread out to dry. Break apart and store in a tightly covered container. Makes 2 pounds.
