Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • shortening - 1/2 c

How to make sugar cookies:

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs. Sift dry ingredients together. Add alternately with milk. Add vanilla. Roll out thin. Put in desired shapes or use cookie cutter. Bake at 375° until lightly browned.
