  • eggs - 5 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter - 1/2 lb
  • cocoa - 4 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • shortening - 1/2 c

How to make chocolate pound cake:

Cream the butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well. Add milk and vanilla. Gradually add dry ingredients. Bake in greased pan 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325°.
