Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- shortening - 1 c
- cream of tartar heaping - 2 tsp
How to make sugar cookies:
Topping:3 Tbsp. sugar1 tsp. cinnamon Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix shortening into dry ingredients (same as pie crust). Beat eggs in bowl. Add milk and vanilla. Then add to dry ingredients and roll out dough (about 1/3 at a time). Cut out cookies and bake at 350° until brown, 12 to 15 minutes.
