Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 3 tsp
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 2 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- flaked coconut - 1 c
- shortening - 1/2 c
- powdered sugar - 1 c
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
- apples, peeled and chopped - 8 item
- Let mixture stand at room temperature for 30 minutes
How to make fresh apple cake:
Combine and mix well apples, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, shortening, salt, pecans, coconut and vanilla. Let mixture stand at room temperature for 30 minutes. Add flour and soda and mix well. Bake in greased and floured Bundt or tube pan at 350° for 1 hour.
